I work with a select number of designers through bi-weekly coaching sessions. This allows you to build real momentum toward your design goals while implementing changes between sessions.

My approach

I believe the best learning happens when you're working on real problems with real stakes. That's why every session is built around your actual work - the feature you're designing this week, the presentation you're giving next month, or the career decision you're weighing.

Instead of abstract design principles, we'll dig into the messy reality of your situation. Why did that user test fail? How do you convince your PM that the quick fix won't work? What's really holding back your promotion? We'll figure it out together.

Here's what makes my approach different:

I won't just ask you leading questions and wait for you to discover the answers. If I see a better solution or think you're heading down the wrong path, I'll tell you directly. Then we'll work through it together until you understand not just what to do, but why.

We'll practice the hard conversations before you have them. Mock stakeholder presentations, role-play difficult feedback sessions, rehearse salary negotiations. By the time you're in the real situation, you'll have muscle memory for success.

Every session ends with concrete next steps. No "reflect on what we discussed" - you'll leave with specific actions to take, templates to use, or experiments to run before we meet again.
